Thinking about a collections career with Fairway Capital Recovery? Here’s what you need to know about new associate training and career development.

In your first week at Fairway, you’ll receive in-depth training on:

  • Company policies and procedures
  • Collection agency compliance, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
  • Our systems and software
  • Collection best practices

You will also spend time shadowing veteran collectors, listening to their calls and gaining valuable experience on how debt collection works in real life. You will also be required to pass tests on your Fairway systems training and FDCPA training (the latter test occurs annually). At the end of the week, your manager will recap all the material for you in a one-on-one meeting and answer any questions.

In your first 30 days, you will be seated close to managers, so they are nearby to answer questions and monitor your progress. Since all our calls are recorded, they will also listen to a few of your calls and provide constructive feedback and help you be more effective. As your career progresses, managers will still listen to your calls from time to time for quality assurance and to give helpful feedback.

Please feel free to contact us at with any questions, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Fairway family!
